Andrew Bota
I love being an attorney. It gives me the opportunity to help people plan for the future so that things go smoothly and as planned both while they are alive and after death. That is the goal of my practice - to help people. It gives me a great sense of satisfaction to know that I can help people and still provide an affordable service. I truly believe that everyone would have some kind of estate plan in place if they knew the consequences of not having one and how easy it is to set up. I help you with every aspect of putting the plan in place.
I'm based in Pleasanton, but my services are available throughout the greater bay area.
I grew up in Pleasanton. I went to first grade here and graduated from Amador Valley High School. I've lived in the bay area my whole life. I love it here. I never want to live anywhere else. I received my bachelor's degree from CSU Chico and my Juris Doctorate degree from Golden Gate University in San Francisco.
I have served on lawyer referral panels and provided legal services to the indigent through the Alameda County Bar Association. I also volunteer whenever I can for the indigent through the Alameda and San Francisco County Bar Associations. I feel it is my duty to provide such services whenever I can. I also teach part time at a local college in the paralegal program. I try my best to give my students a sense of how the practice of law works on a day to day basis in order to prepare them for real jobs in real law offices. I always find that they challenge me in ways I never expected. I learn a lot from my students.
I am interested in helping my clients achieve their goals and protecting their wealth. With this in mind, my process includes a free initial consultation. During this discussion I will begin to determine the best way to legally accomplish your wishes. I pride myself on being able to translate your goals into legal terms and documents so that they will carry the force of law in the future. I am honest with all my clients and I will tell you if your plans may cause problems in the future and alternative provisions that may accomplish that goal in a more legally sanctioned way.
You may have questions about how the process works and if it is worth it or not. I am happy to talk with you about any of your concerns. I'm here to help. I can also send you a questionnaire that is written in plain English to help you start thinking about how to plan for the future. I understand that some of these issues take some time to think about. I know that some clients need to read over the questionnaire and think about things for a while before they put everything in writing. Just give me a call at any time during the process and I will walk you through the alternatives. (925) 200-3936.
